SIX BUCS TEAMS

We have six teams that compete in BUCS, the national tournament between universities. Our teams ability ranges from handicaps +3 to (approx) 12. Students who are selected for our BUCS teams have their entry fees covered by the university along with any transport/accommodation required for away matches. All our BUCS players benefit from weekly coaching sessions delivered by our Head of Golf, Harry Scott, who is also a regional coach for England Golf. They also have unlimited use of the practice facilities on campus. Many BUCS players use their time at university to develop their ability and progression to higher teams is common. Moreover, those students who may miss out on the initial team selection are equally valuable members of the club, with the same level of coaching and opportunities available allowing them to progress into teams later in the year.
